Metric Nuts

Nuts, metric nuts, metric thread nuts, are fasteners designed to match metric thread standards.  The metric system uses millimeter measurements for the diameter and pitch, the measurement between adjacent threads.  They are commonly used in various applications including automotive, construction, engineering and manufacturing.

Common nuts we stock include hex nuts, nylocs (nylon insert nuts), castle nuts, slotted nuts, dome nuts, wing nuts, half nuts (also called lock or jam nuts), and they come in a range of high tensile grades including grade 10 and grade 12.

They come in a range of sizes and are specified by the diameter, for example an M10 nut has a 10mm diameter.
