Mark V All Metal Locking Nuts

Mark V all metal lock nuts are specialised fasteners designed to securely lock in place in high-vibration or high-temperature environments where traditional locking mechanisms might fail.

When the nut is tightened onto a bolt or threaded stud, the collar is compressed against the threads. The gripping grooves on the collar deform and embed into the threads, creating a strong mechanical lock that resists loosening caused by vibration or torque.  These lock nuts are capable of withstanding high temperatures without compromising their locking ability, making them suitable for use in engine compartments, exhaust systems, and other high-temperature environments.
