Machine Screws

Machine screws are a type of fastener designed to be threaded into a tapped hole or used with a nut. They are widely used in various industries, including manufacturing, construction, electronics, and automotive. Machine screws we stock are made of steel, stainless steel, or brass and are available in a wide range of sizes, threads, and head types to suit different applications. These include Metric, UNC, UNF, BSF, Whitworth and BA threads.

Machine screws have a uniform external threading along their entire length, which allows them to securely fasten objects together.  They come with various head types, including flat head, round head and pan head.  Machine screws feature different drive types to accommodate various tools for installation and removal. Common drive types include slotted, pozi/phillips (cross-recessed), and torx (star-shaped).

Machine screws are available in a wide range of sizes and lengths. The size is determined by the diameter and thread pitch, while the length is measured from the underside of the head to the tip of the screw.
